About the event
What?
Over the years, SÄKU has arranged many events related to what might be labelled as “The New Views of Safety” (i.e. Safety-II, Safety Differently, Resilience Engineering, Psychological Safety etc.). These safety perspectives have often started in the more theoretical domain at universities and have thereafter slowly begun to influence the work and visions at actual companies.
One of those companies is the A.P. Möller-Maersk Group (Maersk), the world's largest container shipping company.
SÄKU is happy to invite you to a webinar where Carina Hjørngaard Hjorth, Global Head of Health, Safety, Environment & S&R Transformation, will tell us more about the journey that Maersk is on to make the theory of “The New Views of Safety” into real practice on a global scale. An important part of that is being curious and open to learning, which Carina talks about in this video.
This big journey started a few years ago and Carina is at the helm heading the global cultural safety transformation at the A.P. Möller-Maersk Group. As you know, it takes time to make a huge ship change course and route. The A.P. Möller-Maersk Group is making that turn and will be making that turn during the coming years ahead. Even if the transformation is at an early stage and underway, we hope you will find it very interesting and inspiring to hear the story of the journey so far.
The webinar will be held in English and be recorded and later published at the SÄKU Member Page. As always, you as an audience will get the chance to ask your questions.
Warm welcome and hope to see you there!
