IPS (Swedish Process Safety Association) and SÄKU (The Swedish Safety Culture Network) are happy to invite you to an exclusive webinar with the well-renowned French safety researcher Jean-Christophe Le Coze!
The webinar will be held in English and consist of the following two parts:
Part 1 (45 mns + 15 mns questions):
- Safety research: evolution or revolution?
- A world of changes, some indications of challenges
- The link between safety research and safety practice, a safety market
- Successful topics at the crossroads of research and practice: human error, safety culture, swiss cheese
Part 2 (45 mns + 15 mns questions)
- Is there something wrong about safety culture?
- What is going on with the safety profession, why so much interest in this function now?
- Some elements of discussion about this topic
About Jean-Christophe Le Coze
Jean-Christophe Le Coze is a well-renowned safety researcher (PhD, Mines ParisTech) at INERIS, the French National Institute for Industrial Environment and Risks. His activities combine ethnographic studies and action research in various safety-critical systems with empirical, conceptual, practical, historical, visual and epistemological perspectives. He is the editor of the book “Safety Science Research. Evolution, Challenges and New Directions” (2019) and author of “Post Normal Accident. Revisiting Perrow’s classic” (2020)

The webinar is free of charge for SÄKU and IPS members.
The webinar is open to non-SÄKU or IPS members, given that the invoice can be sent to a company/organization visavi email (for organizations outside of Sweden). For non-SÄKU or IPS members the registration fee is 2 000 SEK plus VAT per attendee. The fee applies if you register for the event but do not attend.
